Our rental amenities include:
· 12 hour exclusive access to the building and grounds
· Valet parking for all guests
· Various tables for guests and/or vendor use
· Full catering kitchen (including ice) for licensed and insured caterers
· Primary dressing suite with restroom and an extra dressing room
· Outdoor/indoor ceremony locations
· Covered front porch with fireplace for cocktail hour
· Large back deck for ceremonies, pictures and cocktail hour
· Security throughout your event
We offer flexibility in the following areas:
· Ability to bring in outside alcohol with the purchase of an ABC license from the state (we will provide you with detailed instructions at your appointment)
· You can hire the catering company of your choice. We do have a list of approved caterers and if you pick one, you won't have any additional documents to obtain. If you hire one not on our list, we do require additional documents along with an additional fee.
· Other vendors and event staff can be hired at your choosing
· While we do require a one day event insurance policy, you can purchase that from the company of your choice
Our rental rates range from $4,500.00 to $6,500.00, depending on the date. To secure a date, we do require a $500.00 deposit which is due at signing.
The Woman's Club of Portsmouth has so much to offer today's modern couples The newly expanded ballroom can host wedding receptions and ceremonies. Our dressing suite is the perfect place to capture photos of a bride putting on her wedding dress and that special time right before you say "I do." The covered porch on the front of the building has a gas fire place and the deck in the back of the building can accomodate ceremonies and cocktail hours. We look forward to helping make your day special!

The newly expanded ballroom in the Woman's Club of Portsmouth is 94 feet long and 48 feet wide! The room can accommodate 250 guests for a seated or a standing cocktail-style event. The Woman's Club includes use of 20 sixty inch round tables, 9 eight foot banquet tables, 4 six foot banquet tables, 2 cocktail tables and 2 forty-eight inch round tables.
Dressing Suites
The primary Dressing suite is located upstairs, just off the balcony that overlooks the ballroom. Inside you will find multiple vanities, a couch and chairs, a private restroom with double sinks, and a full length mirror (for those perfect dress pictures). There is plenty of room for the entire party to get ready and relax before the ceremony! If your party needs more space, there is a secondary dressing suite right across the mezzanine!
Extra Perks
There are many extra perks to having your wedding ceremony and/or reception at the Woman's Club of Portsmouth! There is a gas fireplace under the covered front porch. We also offer a deck off the back of the ballroom for outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours, as well as an extra cocktail room inside.
